

The Homeownership and Asset Development Center is a program of Crawford-Sebastian Community Development Council, Inc. committed to helping individuals and families bring stability and improve housing conditions by promoting homeownership opportunities for low to moderate income households.
Crawford-Sebastian Homeownership and Asset Development Center helps over 250 families a year purchase their own home through Housing Counseling, Homebuyer Education, Money Management, and Down Payment Assistance.

The Path to Homeownership
Crawford-Sebastian Homeownership Center addresses each of these barriers through HUD certified individualized counseling. The Homeownership Center offers one-on-one budgeting, credit review, and financial education. We encourage you to let us show you how you can work toward achieving the American Dream of Homeownership. Our full-cycle mortgage readiness program is designed to help you with individual action plan designed for you.
Open the Door with Education
Homeownership is always in season! Take a class anytime at ehome America. There are 3 courses available:
- Homebuyer Education Course
- Money Management Course
- Foreclosure Education
EHome courses are $100 each, but and use the coupon codes provided and save money!



After completing those steps, choose your path:

Rental Assistance
We offer support to help you navigate the rental process and maintain stable housing. Our services include:
- Application & Lease Support: We can help you understand and complete rental applications and leases, and provide guidance on your rights and responsibilities as a tenant.
- Move-In/Move-Out Guidance: We’ll guide you through what you need to know when moving in or out.
- Budgeting: We can assist with budgeting to help you know what you can afford.
- Housing Stability & Eviction Guidance: If you are facing eviction, we can help guide you through the process to reach a more stable living situation. While we do not provide legal advice or representation, we can facilitate communication with landlords to explore potential arrangements, provide crisis budgeting, and help with applications for alternative housing or temporary shelter.
